West Moors is a village rather than a town, and it delivers like one. Lots of bungalows, a good number of retired customers, and orders that are regular and modest rather than occasional and enormous. A ton bag twice a winter is the classic West Moors pattern.
The heath and the old railway line give the village its character, and a fair few properties back onto woodland. That brings its own consideration – people with trees over the garden often have their own bits of windfall, but windfall softwood and a bit of garden brash isn't firewood, and burning it green is how flues get tarred. We get a steady stream of customers who tried that first.
Access is generally easy: village roads, off-road parking, and few of the pinch points you get in an old town centre. If you're down one of the narrower lanes toward the plantation it's worth a note on the order, but most of West Moors is a straightforward tip on the drive.
