Firewood in the New Forest
Our free delivery zone runs right up to the western edge of the Forest. Ringwood (BH24) is free, and so is Fordingbridge (SP6): it is the one place we deliver to for free that is not a BH postcode, and it is over the county line in Hampshire. It sits on a natural run for us up the Avon valley.
Further in, there is a delivery fee. That covers New Milton and Barton on Sea (BH25), Lymington, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst, and the rest of the SO40 to SO45 postcodes. Contact us for a price. It is agreed with you before anything is charged, and it spreads very thinly across a full transit.
Round Ringwood and Fordingbridge it is Forest-edge country: older properties, larger plots and a good number of houses off mains gas, where a wood burner is the main heating and not an evening luxury. That is where the difference per cubic metre between a ton bag and a full load adds up to real money.

We deliver across the New Forest
Everywhere listed here is just outside our free zone, so there is a delivery fee. Contact us for a price: it is agreed with you before anything is charged, and it spreads thinly across a bigger load.
Not listed? It is the postcode that decides it, not the place name. Put yours into the delivery checker, or ask us: we travel further for bigger loads.
Logs for sale
Logs for sale in the New Forest
Kiln dried logs, seasoned logs, pure hardwood, ash and unseasoned: five firewoods, every one cut to 8–10 inches from our own tree work. The prices are the same as everywhere else; only the delivery fee differs.
Making the fee count
One delivery, the biggest load you can store
Net bag£400 /m³
£12 for 0.03m³. A handy top-up. Easy to carry and easy to store.
Barrow bag£255 /m³
£70 for 0.275m³. About a wheelbarrow and a bit. A few weeks of weekend fires.
Ton bag£109 /m³
£120 for 1.1m³. Our most popular size. Tipped out it comes up knee-to-waist high.
Half Transit£105 /m³
£230 for 2.2m³. Two ton bags' worth, tipped loose from the truck.
Full Transit£95 /m³
£420 for 4.4m³. The whole truck. The best price per cubic metre we do.
Seasoned Mixed Firewood, delivered price divided by volume. The other firewoods follow the same shape.
13% cheaper per cubic metre to take a full transit than four ton bags of the same seasoned mixed wood.
The delivery fee spreads thinly across a bigger load. If you have somewhere dry to keep it, one full transit in the autumn makes far more of the journey than several small orders.

Worth knowing
Fires outdoors, on the Forest edge
A good deal of our patch borders heathland and the New Forest, where open fires outdoors are a real wildfire risk in dry spells. That is about fire pits and bonfires, not stoves, but it is worth a thought in a dry August.
Indoors, Ringwood and Fordingbridge come under New Forest District Council, and neither is in a smoke control area at the time of writing. The local rules article has more, and the council is the place to check.
Worth a read
Before you order
Do you deliver firewood to the New Forest?
Yes. Ringwood and the BH24 villages are free, and so is Fordingbridge (SP6). Further into the Forest, the BH25 and SO40 to SO45 postcodes, we deliver for a fee that is agreed with you before anything is charged.
How much is delivery to Lymington, New Milton, Brockenhurst or Lyndhurst?
There is a delivery fee and it depends on the postcode. Contact us for a price: we confirm it before anything is charged.
Which parts of Hampshire do you deliver to?
The New Forest side. Ringwood and Fordingbridge are free. New Milton, Barton on Sea, Lymington, Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst and the SO40 to SO45 postcodes carry a delivery fee. Further than that, contact us: we travel further for bigger loads.
Do you sell kiln dried logs in the New Forest?

The biggest you can keep dry. The fee spreads very thinly across a full transit, and sits heavily on a single net bag.
