You get confirmation with your slot and your total. If your postcode carries a fee, it's agreed before we set off, not sprung on you at the door.

We back up as close as we can safely get and tip the load exactly where you point us. Everything comes loose — the bags go back with us.

Once it's down and you're happy. Card or cash. Nothing is taken when you book, so there's no deposit at risk.

A Few Things That Help Us

Nothing complicated — but a minute of thought before delivery day saves a lot of shuffling on it.

  • Tell Us About Tight AccessNarrow lanes, low branches, a shared drive, gravel that won't take weight — put it in the order notes and we'll plan for it rather than discover it.
  • Decide Where It GoesHave a spot in mind before we pull up. A ton bag needs roughly a metre square; a full transit needs a good chunk of drive. Somewhere flat and off the pavement is ideal.
  • Keep It Off Bare GroundLogs sat straight on soil pull damp back up. A pallet, some battens or even a couple of scaffold boards underneath makes a real difference by January.
  • You Don't Have To Be InIf you're happy for us to tip in an agreed spot and settle up by card over the phone, say so in the notes and we'll sort it.

Good To Know

Is delivery really free?
Yes, across BH1–BH18, BH21–BH24, BH31 and SP6 Fordingbridge — no charge at all, whatever size you order. It isn't a minimum-spend offer or a first-order thing. Swanage, New Milton, Blandford and parts of the New Forest carry a small fee, and we confirm that with you before anything is charged.
How much is the fee for the outer areas?
It depends how far out you are and what size load you're taking — a full transit going one way costs us less per log than a ton bag. Put your postcode into the order form or ring 01202 022560 and we'll give you the number up front. Nothing gets charged until you've agreed it.
How soon can you get here?
You pick the slot yourself from live availability, up to a month ahead, and there's often something within a few days. Autumn is our busiest stretch, so if you want a specific week in October or November it's worth booking early.
Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily. If you're happy to agree a tipping spot in advance and pay by card over the phone, tell us in the order notes and we'll deliver without you there. Otherwise we'll want someone to point us at the right spot.
Will you stack it or barrow it round the back?
We tip loose where the vehicle can safely reach — we don't stack, and we don't barrow round. It's how the prices stay where they are. If access is genuinely difficult, ring us before ordering and we'll talk through what's possible.
How much space does a load take?
A ton bag (1.1m³) tips out to roughly a metre square and knee-to-waist high. A half transit is double that, a full transit double again. If you're tight on space, two smaller deliveries across the season work fine — though one big load is cheaper per cubic metre.
What if I'm just outside your area?
Ask anyway. We travel further for bigger loads, and we'd rather tell you honestly than have you assume. Put the postcode in the order form or give us a ring — worst case we'll say no, and it's cost you a minute.
Do you deliver to businesses?
Yes — pubs, holiday lets, campsites, glamping sites and estates, often on a regular scheduled drop. That's arranged separately from the online ordering, so ring 01202 022560 and we'll set it up around you.
