The Same Wood, Five Prices
Net bags and barrow bags cost more per cubic metre because you are paying for the bag, the handling and the trip. This is kiln dried at every size we sell it.
Kiln dried firewood, delivered price divided by volume. The other four products follow the same shape.
A net bag is £500 a cubic metre. A full transit of the identical logs is £102. You are not buying better wood in the small bags — you are buying convenience, and it is expensive convenience.
So the only real question is how much you can keep dry. If you have a shed, a garage, a covered corner of the garden or even a pallet and a tarp, buy big once rather than small five times. If you genuinely have nowhere, bags are fine — just go in knowing what the convenience costs.
Order A Full Transit — £450What Will Your Budget Buy?
Most people start with a number in their head rather than a volume. Set yours, tell us how hard the fire works, and we’ll tell you what it buys and roughly how long it lasts.
What that buys
Why It’s All Published
Half the firewood trade hides behind an enquiry form. We would rather you knew the number before you picked up the phone.
No quote form
Firewood is a simple product sold by volume. If a supplier will not publish a number, the number changes depending on who is asking. Ours does not.
Nothing up front
No deposit, no card details, no payment until the wood is off the van and where you want it. Card, cash or bank transfer on the day.
The price is the price
Delivered and VAT included. No fuel surcharge, no minimum order fee, no charge for craning a ton bag off or tipping a transit where you ask.
Free across 23 postcodes
BH1–BH18, BH21–BH24, BH31 and SP6. Outside that we still deliver — we just quote the run before you commit.
What Delivery Adds
For most of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and east Dorset, the answer is nothing. The prices above are what lands on your drive.
Inside The Zone
Every price on this page is the delivered price. No minimum spend, no fee for a net bag or a full transit, no charge to crane a ton bag off the lorry and set it down where you want it.
Outside The Zone
Dorchester, Weymouth, Blandford, Shaftesbury, the Purbecks, the New Forest and further — we go, and regularly. There is a delivery charge, we tell you what it is before you commit, and it spreads very thinly across a full transit.
