Kiln Dried
Dried right down in the kiln, ready to burn the day it lands. Hottest, cleanest burn and the least soot in your flue.
Seasoned Mixed
Air-dried local hardwood mix. The one most of our customers come back for — good heat, honest price, burns clean in any stove.
Seasoned Hardwood
Pure hardwood, no softwood in the mix. Denser logs that hold heat longer — fewer trips to the log basket on a cold night.
Seasoned Ash
The firewood everyone asks for by name. Lights easily, barely spits, and gives a steady clean flame — ideal for open fires.
Unseasoned
Fresh-cut logs to season yourself. Buy in spring, stack it somewhere airy, and you'll be burning it the winter after next at a fraction of the price.
Woodchip & Mulch

Where It Comes From
Nothing Felled For Firewood
Every log we sell started as a tree that had to come down anyway — storm damage, disease, safety work, clearance. Our tree surgery crews are out across Dorset every day, and the timber they bring back becomes this.
Tree Comes Down
Clearcut crews remove a storm-damaged, diseased or unsafe tree somewhere in Dorset.

The timber comes straight to us instead of being chipped or sent to landfill.
