Blandford sits north-west of our usual patch, up the Stour valley, so DT11 carries a delivery fee rather than being free. It's a straight run rather than a difficult one, and the fee is modest – but it's real, so we tell you what it is before you commit rather than adding it later.
The town centre is unusual and worth knowing about: Blandford was largely rebuilt in Georgian brick after the fire of 1731, which means a remarkably consistent stock of townhouses with proper fireplaces and decent chimneys. They were designed to burn things, and they still do it well. Open fires are more common here than in the newer parts of our area.
Outside the town it's farmland and villages, with big plots and a lot of properties off mains gas. Those are our full transit customers, and several of them are on a rough annual rhythm – one big load in early autumn, another after Christmas if the winter has been hard.
